When I cycled up the road there were some big plops of rain, they evaporated before they hit the ground though.
The one cloud has now gone and the sun has come out from behind it.

Bonjour.
I must be turning into a big sentimental git asI get older.
For months now , I have enjoyed watching two pigeons courting and playing in our front garden. I call them Mr and Mrs pigeons.
This morning, I took Molly for a walk early to avoid the heat later on. As I went through our front gate, I noticed a dead pigeon on the road. It must have been hit by a vehicle not long before I got out. Sadly , it was either Mr or Mrs pigeon and I had a tear in my eye and felt very sorry for its partner as I moved him into the hedges to rest in peace.
I know animals have feelings, same as we have and, as I write, I can hear a pigeon calling outside. So sad.

Morning all . God it’s hot and humid today , no surprise thunderstorms are forecast .
I’ve done the little bit of shopping i needed to do and watered the garden so that’s me done for the day. Will spend the rest of the day hiding out of the sun 😀
Mrs exlaser is just back from a club ride, rather her than me . 😀

Another wander done around the town so that’s 12.5 miles for the day. I’m definitely finished now. It’s got really humid.

As we have big trees in the garden, we are overrun with the bloody things, flying vermin. If we lived somewhere a bit more rural I’d dig out my air rifle and shoot them.
