Too any things to press, pull and twist on Petes truck for me.

Glad you didn’t make any typos on that one!

Morning again. Much nicer than the forecast said it would be yesterday. I think when it’s windy it can all change quicker than the met office forecast. It’s dry, bright and breezy at the moment.

I see the Tour starts today. Last year on ITV 4 sadly so better enjoy it while I can. I certainly won’t be paying for TNT sports unless they slash the price drastically. I might consider a tenner a month.

I'm retracting my happy keyboard statement. The illustrated function on some keys don't correspond with the actual function. For example the key shows 2 and @ but actually gives 2 and ". # gives £. Complaint going in.

Sometimes keyboards have the option of being set up for use here or in America and certain keys can be different??

Just copied and pasted this. Might be worth a try?

Switching Between Layouts:
  1. 1. Windows:
    • Open Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.

    • Under "Preferred languages", select your current language and click Options.

    • Click "Add a keyboard" and select the desired layout (e.g., English (United Kingdom) or English (United States)).

    • To switch between layouts, use the Windows + Spacebar shortcut or the language switcher in the taskbar.

At the risk of causing offence I see an average band from Manchester was gigging last night. I spotted a couple of reels on Facebook. Noel didn't look very chuffed. At least their quite open about this being a money-making exercise. I don't really have a problem with that. Also fell across Rod Stewart at Glastonbury. Hmmmmm................
I know 3 people who spent £350 EACH for tickets.
Each to his own etc.
How much would you pay to see Springstein ?

If it the comfig on the computer - sounds like it is a US keyboard/uk keyboard confusion

did have it once where I couldn;t fix it though so complaining might be a good idea while it is new

The actual tickets for the recent Springsteen gig at Coop Live were £155 each. By the time Ticketmaster add ons are taken into account the cost per ticket was actually £178. Ticketmaster are robbing so and so's. By chance we saw Springsteen in Cardiff at the Principality (Millennium) stadium last year, which is where Oasis performed last night. Last year we paid £150 with add ons that came to £160.

Without debating the quality of the bands, I have a certain bias, the venues are very different. Coop Live is genuinely the best music venue I've been to in 50+ years of concerts. We could hear each individual instrument and voice plus all the words were clear. I've only experienced that before at the Bridgewater Hall.

Yes, I've had a good poke around and there isn't a configuration I can achieve to make the key strokes correspond to the key symbol. I've worked them all out. The seller is based in Winsford, Cheshire and the illustrated keyboard was exactly the same as mine. I've returned the item but I' contacting the seller to say I'll happily collect another if I can test it before leaving. It gives them a fair chance.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I'm sure it won't last long.
