TDT starts here at about 9PM our time so staying up until midnight or later is not an option for me. Fortunately we get an hour of highlights at 5.30PM the next evening. We have Aussie former riders as commentators.

A question. A workmate/friend of mine passed away suddenly yesterday evening. He was a lovely chap and condolences to the family have been expressed via his Fb page.
The question is: how long before I delete him from my 'freinds' on Fb?
Maybe a week? 🤔

BTW no 'sorry for your loss' sentimences are necessary.

Same with one of my ex colleagues who sadly died a few weeks ago At only 51. I’ve noticed the trend that families often seem to leave their page active after they die now and even tag them in posts which I find a bit weird. It almost makes me feel guilty thinking about deleting her.

Happy birthday Paul.
You don't look a day over, erhh, 71  .

Had a weetabix for breckie and am about to have spices noodles.
Apparently I am on a full roast later.

It's tomorrow as I post this as I am just catching up on all the posts. I had weetabix this morning, not had them for a while. As ever the Weetabix were reluctant to come out of the tight wrapping so I tore it along one side causing an avalanche to spill into the bowl. I thought sod it, they're not going back so I had 5 Weetabix ( with a handful of raisins)

Maybe some people, (possibly most?) haven't invoked the Legacy option so there's actually no way for it to be closed?
Tagging them, though, does seem slightly odd to me; but, each to their own, I s'pose..

Perhaps the family will use his page as a way of keeping people informed of funeral arrangements and anything else they feel relevant.
I would leave it for a while. There will come a day when you feel it's right. There's no rush.

I agree it is a bit weird. Maudlin is the word I would use. It's the Diana effect.

Well done. I’ve squeezed 4 into the bowl but haven’t managed 5 yet. They aren’t very filling anyway. I don’t know how you are supposed to survive on just 2!

When I used to eat butter I would occasionally indulge in 2 buttered Weetabix as a mid morning snack. They taste a bit weird but enjoyable, the debris field that's produced around you as you crunch into them does take a bit of cleaning up 😁

Weetabix are a claggy, soggy & icky after the milk has soaked in... I accidentally had a couple of MrsPete's once as we'd run out of proper cereals and I didn't fancy porridge.
I though they'd gone bad or that the milk had soured.
Turned out they were banana flavoured... Who in the great Trump of things would make Banana Weetabix I ask you!! 🤮
