Just put the second coat of paint on the shed floor. Paint was about five years old, 5 litres in an unopened tin. Walls had 2 coats but the wood is in very poor condition in places so it's really patchy. This will last a couple of years 🤞 then get something smaller.

I've done all my domestics and now watching the Tour. Not a lot going on so I am switching between the tour and the tennis.
A good game between an Aussie, Alex de Minaur and DJokovic. Good tennis being played.
Plus i have a Bolognese sauce on the go for tea tonight.

Just back from my ride, a short one as it's got really windy. Nearly got blown off the bike. 25km in 1 hour ten, I'll take that in this wind.

Amateurs! I have mentioned it before but I had both ends sequentially on one occasion ( and yes, they did rinse it under the tap before shoving it down my throat) 😉🤣

Last week the specialist nurse realised I was in some discomfort. She said she would swap to the smaller tube. I spotted what was about to be inserted. My reaction was simple "That's the small one????" 😲😲

Good morning. Grey and drizzling. Paul is 71 today. I find that quite hard to grasp. I'm not fussed but 50 years ago it was hard to imagine!!!

We're meeting #1 son, DIL and #2SP for lunch at Lupo Caffe. II's a favourite cafe stop for me and my cycling buddies but none of us have eaten there. My buddies see me as the guinea pig on this one.

Meanwhile I will potter around doing domestics.

I’ve mostly been watching tennis but managed to switch to the cycling in time for the final 5km.

On our local Facebook page I see someone’s little dog has been killed by another dog.

Boy, oh boy. It's blowing a gale here. We had a great ride, 50 miles in 3:30 but I hadn't appreciated how tiring the wind was. My legs are fine but overall I'm very tired.

Food of the gods. A cricket ball sized ball of mushy peas dipped in batter and deep fried. Crunchy on the outside, moist and peppery on the inside and high in protein😎
