Back from my walk, just a bit further again. It's very pleasant at the moment but will be waaaay too hot in a while.
I met a guy with a young male lab. The Lab was a beautiful golden colour, don't think I've ever seen a colour quite like it. It was friendly as in not aggressive but too bouncy to stroke.

Good morning. :sun: it was 19⁰ in what would be shade in our backyard at 9.00pm yesterday. It's now 22⁰ and rising in the same spot. A poor sleep. This was down to Mrs P snoring. I slept in the spare room for a year or so to make sure she got enough sleep. I've moved back and guess who isn't getting enough sleep? Moi!!!

Lots of small chores done. Exercises next then breakfast followed by harvesting the blackcurrants and red currants. I also need to dig some potatoes. After that it will be too hot for allotment work.

Very fortunately at the back of our house it's deep shade and quite cool. This is the spot where I usually clean my bikes.........seems like the perfect excuse for several hours TLC. I haven't had the chance for weeks.

Bruce walked. Its already 20 celsiuses and uber sticky. I've just about had enough of it.

How bad is it further North or back home in Scotland?

19 here with a high of 26 later. Still too hot for me. Maybe I need to move even further north!

I was out weedkilling the gravel at 6am then did the riverside trail and got a few things from the shop on the way back to make sandwiches. It’s too hot to eat hot meals.

PJs back on already!

A change next week. Hopefully Monday’s rain and lack of sun will give the house a chance to cool down.
