Temperature has burst through 35 celsiuses in the shade and still climbing.

He won't like but I'll be leaving Bruce indoors when I walk down to meet Mini D from school.

Bonnie is slobbed out by the lounge door at the moment. I might take her out for a walkies this evening but if it's still šŸ”„ then she can just have a lazy day..

Millie is laid out on a cool mat, in front of a cool air fan. The windows are closed and it's still 29⁰ in the front room.🄵

The Mersey is fresh water but the salt content is affected when the Irish sea tide comes in.

Is the right term "Brackish" for a mixture of salt and fresh water?

The Mersey is strange.
It starts some 60 miles away in the Penines and for (I guess) 50 miles is all fresh.
The last (I guess) 10 miles is affected by the Irish sea so when the tide is going out the Mersey is mainly fresh but in reverse, when the sea tide is coming in then the Mersey is mainly salt.
But yes, part of it is brackish.
