Good morning all.
A decent but broken nights sleep.
Had my 1st medicine so 30 mins before I can have a drink.
I am trying my friends Revitive to see if it helps my calves, feels good but I'm not optimistic......we shall see.
1st job is to strip the bed and get the washing in.

You could also try standing, holding onto something for balance then raising heels from the ground for a few seconds then lower and repeat.

Good Morning. It will be hot. The sky is clear and the sun is shining. It's nice and cool in the house so we will draw the curtains and blinds to keep it that way. Eight, yes 8, hours sleep last night thanks to yesterday's cycling. We set off early, 7.30, on a gravel ride to Liverpool which turned in to a 97 mile epic. I really should have done the extra three to make the century but I really couldn't be arsed. Tomorrow a bunch of folk I know are riding coast to coast, that's going to be a hot one. A good friend is taking part and she's very anxious about it, especially with the forecast. I've passed on my experience of yesterday's ride in similar heat, which is basically ignore the planned cafe stops in the first 65 miles which should break the back of the climbing, carry sufficient food for the full ride and stay well hydrated. I drank 5.5 litres yesterday and only managed to pee once!!

I'm not sure about today. It will be too hot for allotment work. I may clean the bike which is covered in a nasty combination of dust and sweat!! xx( I'm seeing my PT this afternoon and that is about it. Next I must stretch to get the body ready to go.

Yes, I used to do that most mornings as part of my warm up before cycling or golf. It had gone right out of my mind.
So I did 10 this morning  .

Morning all :hello:

Yay! Fish Friday!
Probably too hot to walk to the harbour and back, so might go to a riverside pub today, possibly the Valiant Soldier.
Got a bit of shopping and a key to get cut first thing.
Little bit of work in my workshop yesterday evening. Cured the sticking throttle slide on the Barracuda; put it on the lathe and skimmed half a thou of it - slides a treat now.
