Nipped into Hardingstone on the ebike to point out a lamp post for a speed indicator device.

Was met with the usual,"where's you're helmet?" remark from some utter nodule.

I don't do well in the heat and nearly told him to eff off and mind his own business, but settled on "on the end of my nob" instead, then stared at him and dared him to respond. He didnt.

Been shopping needed a few bits, don't think I'll be going out for my walk as it's too hot

Walked to Wimborne along the trailway and down to the wibbly wobbly bridge across the Stour ( 3 plank wide pedestrian suspension bridge that sways if you get your stride in resonance ). There were a group of young schoolchildren sitting on the grass in the shade next to the bridge and one of the accompanying teachers was getting them ready to march across in single file and explaining the science behind the wobble they would experience 😎. Walking into an air conditioned Waitrose was bliss, extra bonus was that the " proper " halloumi, the one that's not adulterated with cow's milk was on offer a £3 so I got half a dozen blocks 👍

We have a wooden bridge on a trail above Comrie where I did my walk yesterday called the shaky bridge by the locals. It was recently upgraded so it doesn’t seem as shaky any more.

Afternoon all

Not sure about today - SWMBO is watching politics programmes on teh telly
and will be watching Wombledon soon

I do have something to pick up and Denelm Mill later on

might do that now and have a coffee while I am there

then come back and see if the weather is suitable for a ride - or too hot?

at the moment I can ride fine but walking is a problem as I have an inflamation on a "bony lump" on teh back of my ankle
happens sometimes for no good reason that I can see
Did see a Dr about the lump a while ago and she laughed at it - which was not encouraging
might think about asking these new ones when I go next

Been to Bridgwater to buy some new sandals and get some oil for my CRVs next service.
Filled the car up on the way back.
Crikey! It's so easy to blow nearly £200 these days.

I’m trying to be a bit more careful with the pennies now. I’ve just this minute cancelled Zwift. I may or may not start it up again towards winter. They keep saying inflation is falling, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Bit morbid, but none of us know when we will kick the bucket,
we save for rainy days and now the government wants a morning dip.
