For some weeks I have had a KitKat on my mind.
I succumbed yesterday and bought a pack.
Just enjoyed one (2 bars) with a cup of tea, really enjoyed it.

You have to keep them in the 'fridge this weather though. You are very very disciplined only eating one bar IMHO.

Glorious. And hot.
Just cycled up to local shop to get milk and it is scorchio.
Plan at moment is drop youngest off at train station as she's off to London for a music festival which will be boiling I'd imagine.
I got a 30 mile spin in yesterday so I'll see how if I go today or leave until tomorrow.

Just the riverside trail done and the sweat was starting to trickle down my face already. I’m not sure I want to venture back out.

Gonna be a warm one. I've closed curtains/blinds upstairs on the south facing side of house to see if that helps keep house a bit cooler.
Whilst its tempting to keep windows open if indoors, it's better to keep closed to prevent external air getting in and heating house. That's the theory anyway so I'll see if it makes a difference.

Nipped into Hardingstone on the ebike to point out a lamp post for a speed indicator device.

Was met with the usual,"where's you're helmet?" remark from some utter nodule.

I don't do well in the heat and nearly told him to eff off and mind his own business, but settled on "on the end of my nob" instead, then stared at him and dared him to respond. He didnt.
