appatently I have a hernia type thingy


referred to hospital for possible surgery

and if I get intensive excruciating pain then I should go to A&E or ring 999

I’ve got the second semi on now but not paying much attention. It’s pretty one sided.

I’m trying to be a bit more careful with the pennies now. I’ve just this minute cancelled Zwift. I may or may not start it up again towards winter. They keep saying inflation is falling, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Inflation falling just means prices aren't going up as fast as before, they're still going up though.

We have an ancient massive a/c unit….perfect to keep the bedroom cool in spells like this, even if you can’t walk round the bed due to it’s heft 🫣
Son & g/f are escaping London for the weekend to visit tomorrow….they might not be so happy in the less cool South Wing, but it has to be better than London, right? 🥵

Morning. Up early so I might have a gentle spin. If I can’t make an effort to get out in this weather then I would be as well getting rid of the bikes.

Good morning all.
A decent but broken nights sleep.
Had my 1st medicine so 30 mins before I can have a drink.
I am trying my friends Revitive to see if it helps my calves, feels good but I'm not optimistic......we shall see.
1st job is to strip the bed and get the washing in.

Forgot to say......I bought myself a present yesterday.
As I have said, the kitchen in my flat is, shall I say, compact. It has no grill and I have not bought a toaster.
So........I bought a Ninja toaster/grill.
I used it and it works**.
You pop the bread in and toast it. Turn the gizmo onto its side and it becomes a grill/panini press.
I did cheese, ham and tomato on toast.
**it took a bit of getting used to as ie I turned it onto its side but forgot to press the 'grill' button so was puzzled when nothing happened......but all is good now.
