Temperature has burst through 35 celsiuses in the shade and still climbing.

He won't like but I'll be leaving Bruce indoors when I walk down to meet Mini D from school.

Bonnie is slobbed out by the lounge door at the moment. I might take her out for a walkies this evening but if it's still 🔥 then she can just have a lazy day..

Just back from my ride and holy moly it was hot. 40 miles with 3300ft of climbing so a good workout and blimey it was hard work.
Fantastic day though.

Just been out to the pharmacy and the car was saying it is 31 degrees!!

as we are by the sea that is pretty high!

(when I say sea - I mean the Mersey - which has salt in it so it counts)

The Mersey is strange.
It starts some 60 miles away in the Penines and for (I guess) 50 miles is all fresh.
The last (I guess) 10 miles is affected by the Irish sea so when the tide is going out the Mersey is mainly fresh but in reverse, when the sea tide is coming in then the Mersey is mainly salt.
But yes, part of it is brackish.

Yes, I enjoyed the first match but it was sad to see Djokovic. Maybe he should have called it a day last year when he was still winning.
