Still a bit muggy out there, albeit not to the degree it has been.

Spotted an unauthorised traveller encampment on my morning patrol with Bruce, so I've put my unpaid councillors hat on and done some form filling and notified the local constabulary. The travellers dont realise it but the land they've chosen was heavily chemically contaminated in the 1950s and 60s, hence it being neither farmed or built upon. I expect they'll know by lunchtime when the dibble tell them.

Morning all :hello:

I think I've got my new phone set up now, but what a palaver!
The initial set up was straightforward - copy a QR code and let the new and old phones communicate with each other; it's some apps that caused problems. Either they were incompatible or they required numerous hoops to jump through in order to sign in.
The new one signed me out of all my cctv, NSI, banking, music and video apps, as well as PayPal & Ebay amongst others.

It was the same when I transferred the information to my new 'phone a few months back.
I think it is more of a security thing so someone can't just copy the apps and instantly get into them.

I doubt wether they'll care about the land, it'll be in an even worse state when they leave.

Morning folks :okay: just sent off for a humane mouse trap, i reckon one has availed himself of the open kitchen window as theres been some suspicious mousy noises...
Went for a longish spin yesterday and got cooked! jeez its the first time ive appreciated a head wind! toiling up some hills the oncoming breeze was quite pleasant and stopping was uncomfortable so kept going! :okay:

35km done, I thought I was going quite quickly but just about average time. It's still only 22 degrees C, so not so uncomfortable. Not sure what I'll do now, make a cup of tea perhaps.

I'd like to ride and need to get a few in before next Sunday as annual club event then and it'll be a very hilly 50miles but it's so hot here and I suffered on Friday when I rode. Trouble is this coming week looks windy and wet!

Managed to get out for my walk before 08.00. Very pleasant at that time. I extended the distance a fair bit today so was pleased with myself.
Breakfast will be bacon and egg sarnie.

Jings, that’s the heat building up now!

I will no doubt just spend the afternoon watching cycling and tennis. I just hope the men’s final is at least close. I’m not sure I have much preference as to who I want to win. Sinner I think as he hasn’t won it yet.

Me as well but I think Alcarez just has too much for him..... especially if Sinners arm plays up.
