I managed to get half of one lawn cut, before the heavens opened.

Apparently there is one in Bangor.
Still a long way to go shopping though.

Indeed. I won't bother. I used to go to the one in Birmingham City centre many decades ago

Well the rain didn't come and the sun came out and it's been 26c most of the day,
still warm indoors at 24c, but not had the fan on.

We've had a few rumbles of chunder here, but no blunder as yet.

We had the light rain at lunchtime as promised. Come 17.00 a BBQ was decided on.
All was fine and burgers were cooking nicely when a big black cloud came along together with thunder, lightning and heavy rain.
Change of plans and we ate in the conservatory.
As my great aunt Fanny would say, it's the thought that counts .

It has been mostly dry and windy here
but everytime the flags in the garden dried it rained again

and still windy

much cooler though - which is nice for SWMBO as she has been suffering a bit in the heat
I seem to adapt a lot easier and just sweat a lot
