Morning folks and good luck to those with health issues

Turned my compost this morning to aerate and make sure its ready for autumn planting. My compost bin is about 6ft square and 3ft deep and its piled high all collected seaweed from the beach and raked grass when the council do the local mowing. It will get my trees/shrubs off to a good start which are- 1 Morello cherry, a Damson, 2 honeyberries, a Chaenomeles , Winter jasmine, Jostaberry, rhubarb, Viburnum nudum, Viburnum bodnantense, Fothergilla monticola, Hydrangea 'Bluebird' and various herbaceous perennials.
The 'garden' used to be a gravel wasteland ....hope future residents will enjoy it and hopefully wont gravel it over again!

Aye, 99% sure it's a TIA at this point.

Just an addendum
When I had mine I was told it was a TIA
but I started to notice a few problems hanging on - most obviously remembering names of people and things had occasionally become more difficult
although it was always a problem for me - but it was clear it had got worse - a bit anyway

and the doctor told me that this indicates that it was therefore probably an actual stroke - and not a TIA
technically

but the important things was that the treatment and precautions were exactly the same so it doesn;t really matter much


One thing they forgot to tell me was that I now take Clopidogrel - which cuts down pn platelets in my blood which affects clotting

turns out that you can;t take ibuprofen with it
I didn;t know that and went for a ride
I got the teeniest tiniest scratch on my arm from a bramble

and it would NOT stop bleeding
took all evening with it elevated and with pressure on a wad of kitchen roll (several had soaked right through!!!) over it before it stopped


so - anyway - just for info

John O'Groats has changed all little since I was there last. Nothing like Lands End though. A few extra cafes, and touristy places, plus a dreaded Christmas shop.🤬

Earlier today I accepted an offer to settle the PI claim following my RTC. For the first time in my life I can make a guilt free bike purchase. Every other time I've had to justify it to myself. This time it's sod it, I'm 71, this is a little bit of extra cash I never anticipated. I'll buy the bike I want while I still have the health to enjoy it.

It will be a Cervelo Caledonia. My Cervelo C3 is the finest bike I've ridden so I see no point in looking at other brands unless the Caledonia is a disappointment. There's a wide range and price range. I won't be going top end or even considering an integrated cockpit, both make prices more realistic.
