Just been out for a walk with the grand kids

Youngest came back filthy after falling over several times on dusty paths
basically he runs everywhere and on dusty paths stopping doesn;t work as well as he expects

still - whatever - his Gran knows that if I take kids out for a walk then they sometime come back dirty or wet - all this bringing up kids in a protective bubble is not my way

basically - I left with 2 kids and I came back with 2 kids
which is the point
extra point for them being the same kids!!

(yes - I was a teacher - never killed any of them!!!!)

It is 29 degrees outside now so I have postponed my ride till tomorrow morning.
Having a glass of shandy now and that's it for today.
Molly won't be going for a walk till much later tonight when it cools down.

Off out for a stroll on Staple Plain before it gets too hot.
Will nip down to Watchet later to check on the progress on my CRV, have lunch and for MrsD to have her hair cut.

I try and treat everyone with respect until their actions prove them to be unworthy of it.
This attitude seems to have served me well thought out my 60 odd years on this planet. 😀

Holy moly it's hot. A day of DIY stuff, car and I've also fitted vent pipe to ensuite fan outlet so I can use the portable AC eldest has in Uni. It's working but I'm not convinced it's man enough for the job. Our bedroom is huge so a big space to cool.
Plan tomorrow is ride so if it's as hot as today could be a suffer fest.
