If you’ll need it long enough, and have the budget, consider a Trionic off-road stroller. We got one for MIL and it’s a serious bit of kit. Really stable and can climb kerbs and do rough ground

Retirement what a word.So Mrs P is on Pantry duty.Church volunteer jobbie.So Postman in charge.First father in laws brekkie,simple job,Weetabix milk drizzle of honey.Washed all brekkie things up.Then prepped veg for dinner.Cleaned kitchen floor.It is too hot to weed so i made up a concoction of salt, vinegar, bleach hot water and bathroom cleaner and blitz the driveway.Then made f.i l's latte.Finally hoovered halway carpet and living room carpet,now sat in a cool back room,oh boy it is hot out there,all the best to one and all.

Getting old but not past it

This morning, I did my last training ride, 22 kms, before my Sportive on Sunday.
I went early but it was still hot.
Then, we took two great grand children to the park so they could mess about safely in the water pond. Mrs G announced then that she forgot to bring any money so guess who had to pay for the ice creams before we went home?

Ride done
Not too warm which was good, fairly overcast for half the ride
46miles with 3700ft climbing so a decent spin with a nice lunch stop as well
