welsh dragon

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
If he'd gone of on a tangent on the roof, he might have fallen off!

Luckily I was there to stop him

Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
Good morning all from an overcast Barnet.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10am, then I'll be out with the dog for a while.
The two female moggies have rushed off out, and Harry came rushing in for his breakfast after his nightly duties.
I'll get a bike ride in and possibly a couple of pints in the Mitre on the way home.
The grass needs cutting so that will get done as well. My tomatoes and beans are doing well, with a steady supply coming in on a daily basis.
I might watch the 100 cricket on the telly if I get the time.
Another busy day in paradise :cuppa:

Morning.
A decent day, partially sunny and light wind. Perfect day for a spin. Only issue is apparently Wahoo have scuppered the v1 Bolt bike computer with a date issue( I won't bore with details but suffice to say they don't work now until update issued).

So, if I ride but it's not recorded will it have happened?

In the long-term something of this sort will have to happen in the UK. For the current year VED is forecast to generate £9.1bn (per household equivalent £320) and in 2020/21 fuel duty revenues were £26bn (household equivalent £850)

Once we move fully EV that's £35bn lost to the Exchequer at today's rates. That's a lot of tax revenue, £1170 per household, to replace.

There will come a point when EV users will have to pay taxes to use their vehicles.

Pay by the mile, under Reeves is will be pay by the mm

I think they will simply add this black hole to the existing black holes so that eventually the black hole will be big enough to swallow the country and spit it out in an alternative universe - probably similar to North Korea but with lots of cats - I must stop watching so many Sci-fi B Movies

It's not a black hole it's a bottomless pit 🕳️

forgot to mention

on my canal path ride yesterday I actually saw someone catch a fish!!

only the second time this has happened in many years of riding them

first time was years ago and the bloke was really excited and asked me to stop and take a picture so his wife - and mates - would believe him

no idea what kind of fish either case but it was fish shaped with fins if that helps - so not an eel
