Depends on your point of view......Is that good?
It very much depends on how much one can afford. I went to Boots for my first hearing test. The audiologist fitted several pairs for me to try. They were all very good, the things one could do with the £3000 pair were mind-blowing, no doubt even more so five years later.I think some do. I’m sure my step mum put hers into a little charger. She was quite well off though and paid for them so maybe they were fancier than the NHS ones?
Just spent two hours booking a train ticket for myself and a bike from Stirling to Oban, Ferries from Oban to Barra, Barra to Eriskay, Berrernay to Leverburgh and Stornoway to Ullapool. Plus the bus from Ullapool to Inverness. Then I tried to book the train from Inverness back to Stirling. I've had three goes so far, it just doesn't seem to want me to book a one way ticket for one person and a bicycle using a veterans railcard. No trouble on the Stirling to Oban leg but it's just not having it from Inverness back to Stirling.
I think I might just go for a walk and try again later.
They come in a pack of 6, each in individual pockets.Hence a £1 coin for scale.. I would imagine that anyone with less than agile hands/fingers or poor eyesight might struggle!

Each battery has a 'Peel off' protective mini strip (orange in photo).
They can only fit one way and even I can slip them in easily.

The rechargeable thing begs the question what to do when they're charging??
