First day of Autumn.. ❄️

Classic will be along shortly to disagree. I am inclined to think of this as the first day too, but the meteorological and astronomical are different.

Me being the usual rain magnet I am managed to get a walk/jog done with the rain coming on 5 minutes after setting off and going off 10 minutes before getting back.

Today I shall reassemble the close coupled cistern, in the en-suite, with its new valve and siphon.

Took me all flippin’ afternoon yesterday to disassemble and unmount from the wall. I mean, who uses mild steel screws with no wall plugs? I had to use a Dremel to get the rusted, broken, screw out without cracking the cistern 🤬

Sounds like a botch up that I would do, Mr Bean has long been my nick name.

Good morning all.
So much to report, I will condense it so you don't get over excited.
1. Reading Mo, Numbnuts and other comments I decided on a PJ compromise so slept with one arm and one leg in.......it didn't work.
2. I am taking my granddaughter to town.......for 2 reasons. She needs a replacement gold necklace as hers was stolen and I want a new stud as my lughole has healed now.

Forecast is now 'not as bad' as it was.......not good but not as bad.

I get it about the Equinox the date of which tends to vary from time to time so the start of the calendar month is more convenient for most of us.

Wet and windy today I agree . But not cold. Anyway, wet and windy is all part of a British summer.
