New washing machine bought and will be delivered next Tuesday.
Put a big mirror and TV on the wall at daughter's too. ( Two different walls).
That's my jobs done for today.

A friend of mine had to hang a frigging dart board up for his daughter & her partner as they didn't know what to do.

Aged late 20's.

Unbelievable!

Thursday Thwim completed.. 1km today. 🏊

I was supposed to be riding but the weather wasn't great.

Just had a bit of a worry

an hour or so ago I replied to a post on the local "NextDoor" thingy
I don;t normally do that as it can be the domain of some people who won;t listen
if you know what I mean

but this just tempted me
it was about the old hotel and asylum thingy - so probably the most likely to attract "that type of person"

anyway - I was just pointing out a few facts and pointing to proof - kinda not aggressive but informative

anyway - just got an email saying someone had replied to me

which was worrying

turned out they were just agreeing with me!!!

Barnet,
Good morning all fellow retirees.
It's just starting to get light now, it's surprising how the mornings get lighter later and the evenings draw in and you don't really notice it until around September. Autumn has really arrived and the temperature has dropped during the nigh quite considerably, although it is nice and warm during the day when the sun comes out.
The cats are our thermometer, they are all back indoors by 6 o'clock in the evening because it is a bit cool under paw by then.🐈🐈‍⬛
there is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell 🔔 so that is this afternoon taken care of, and the washing machine will be doing its stuff soon.
Enjoy your day everyone ☕️
