It's not raining yet, and the sky only has some very high clouds and doesn't look threatening at the moment.
Haircut day for me, the thatch is starting to look a bit untidy.

one had found "face soap" and one bar has lasted her 16 months which has saved her a fortune in cleansing gels

anotehr has found a cotton cloth like a towel that she finds she can use to exfoliate her face and cleanse her skin

and it goes on

sometimes I wonder how the **** humans became the dominant species on Earth

I can only presume that some of us did a damn site more than our fair share of the work
especially the thinking

I believe such 'ideas' are called Hacks. 🤷‍♂️

Up early today as I've got to take MrsD to Taunton for a pre op appointment at 0830. She's got to have a cataract operation. Hoping they will do the op within the next couple of weeks.

Good morning folks, heard from younger ( 45 ) daughter that she's been awarded an MA with merit 😎 She's been juggling being a single mum and her job as a supply teacher with its variable hours and locations, and all the studying and research required for her course work and dissertation.
We're really proud of her, hopefully this will lead to a more regular job. We've also got a double sleepover with our granddaughter at the weekend 😄😎

Morning folks got my bodging hat on today...going to make a garden bench out of an old wooden bed frame Think i'll paint it apple green and park it near my bird bath, planting some hyssop around that for the bee's.
*Bodging is the bastard child of the mother of invention!

Good morning all. Like others, it's dry here but rain is threatening.
My Thursday lunch time pub visit has been brought forward one day so that's my lunch sorted today.
Had my morning cuppa and now enjoying a glass of milk.

Morning.
Opened the blinds and the sun is shining. Not sure how long that will last.
Bit of a crap nights sleep, the usual wake up around 0300 then struggle to get back off. Just stupid stuff going around my head, no worries or anything.
Still, the joy of retiring is I don't need to go to work so it really doesn't matter. And maybe a little doze later....
