Good morning all.
Another bright start to the day here but it is quite cool 7⁰ but due to cloud over later on.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies this morning then I'll be out with the dog for a while, then, out on the bike for a bit.
Our Daughter is calling in after work to borrow a sander, she has bought some kitchen chairs from faceache market place and stripped the varnish from them, now needs to sand them down before staining them. No doubt she will want tea.

Good morning from a sunny but chilly Dorset. Walking group this morning but no veg box delivery as we are away for a long weekend in Edinburgh. The insulation is still in rolls in the loft and the fitting can wait until we're back.
Wandered around Aldi yesterday and among the Christmas stuff I spotted this:

Good morning. Isn't it dark. No idea what the weather is doing - black outside. Busy day ahead as shortly I will be off to collect #3SP for the day, return her home about 4.00 and then off to Manchester to collect #2SP from nursery, home, feed, change etc. as both parents are working late.

Right, off I go. I want to get the ironing done and my stretches complete before I leave. I bought a new summer jersey yesterday. Couldn't resist it.......this is so not me! Love it.

Mrs D is home today so is relieving me of ironing duties.

Awaiting a delivery AM, a new office chair and some equipment for my degree course. Because I get IIDB for my nacked right arm the student loan company are throwing free gear at me.

And not having a job I'll never pay a penny of the tuition fees back!

Feeling pretty tired but too nice not to ride and at least this time I'll be able to clip in.
Coffee and breakfast first though.

That was a cool but gorgeous walk again. 8.5 miles with a big hill in the middle.

I'm going to try cutting out breakfast for a while and see if I can finally drop some of the excess pounds I'm lugging around.

I thought breakfast was the one meal you are not supposed to cut out. That's what I read but it's probably a fad that will be changed by next week.

hmmm

anyway - as some of you may have gathered I have been doing some volunteering for Age UK helping some "older people" with computers and phones and all that

anyway - seems like I have been doing more than anyone else with the NHS app
and the lady runnign our bit (I wish they wouldn;t call us Digital Champions - sounds rather American)
has said they want to increase the advertising of this service (it is free - they certainly don;t pay me!!)
and someone suggested making a video for us on a web page and at stalls or whatever

and the lady that looks after our area suggested me

now clearly my wife thinks of me ws something between Adonis, Arnie, Sean COnnory and - naturall Ross Kemp

but personally I don;t see it - and she would deny it

anyway when she asked I didn;t feel I could say no
well I could be she ws very persuasive (stop giggling at the back!!!) and I sort of agreed

WHen I told my wife she said she will dress me

not sure why but she seems to be insisting


honestly!

anyway - so fame and fortune beckon - HollyWood here I come
(well probably Age UK in ST Helens - but whatever)

I am not sure I am happy about this but I suppose it can;t be worse than teacher Year 9 last lesson on a Friday
