lol Gloucester services are normally our toilet and coffee ( and sausage roll ) stop when on the m5 and going west . It’s good but expensive. 😀.
Happy to have a digital id as it will stop Brexit boat people and other coming her to work illegally

'Morning to all.
A quieter day than yesterday.
Friends Of...... (insert as applicable).
As mentioned previously our house backs onto a park (Peel Hall Park). A lovely place to get a walk in.
It has a few ponds, a disused paddock and various bridle ways. Add In a children's play area.....a generally nice place.
Sadly you always get the b*stards who ruin it by eg dumping rubbish or even stolen cars which they set fire to etc.
Anyway some good hearted people have started a "friends of" group and we had our 1st meeting last night. It was, fortunately, well supported. It's new to all of us but intentions are good and I got good vibes.

We have similar sounding local groups around us. We don't have parks as such to look after but a lot of litter picking is done on the surrounding roads. It does make a difference and it's very good to see people taking a pride in their local community. Well done.

Good morning. Another glorious day is dawning. We had the most beautiful weather in Eskdale over the last two days, yesterday was just like a pleasant summer day. Back home again now and into the usual routine though today is back to front. Mrs P's treatment isn't until 1.00pm which means all the afternoon stuff has to be moved forward to the morning and the morning moved to the afternoon..........................around lunchtime I'm likely to be very confused and meet myself coming back from somewhere I'm just going to!!!!
Two things I must remember, I have a PT session at 8.30 and a bike fit at 5.00pm. As my PT and bike fitter are married I'll be spending more time at their house than mine today. The bike fit is simply to sit on the jig and check if my position has changed since the RTC. Once I have all the dimensions the new bike purchase can get much more serious. I work on the principle that I should buy bikes that fit me rather than buy a bike and then adapt it to fit me. Generally this works well and eliminates too much compromise.

Morning folks 
have finished edging part of my back garden and now trying to choose 8 or so hybrid tea roses to plant in november when bare root plants are available. Roses with strong fragrance are on my list but not too tall as it can get windy here in Brora, quite a head scratcher but a pleasant occupation browsing whats available.
*will get rid of that horrid back fence when i can afford something gentler on the eye

Morning all. Up early ( for me anyway ) as I am taking my daughter to another interview. She has had quite a few recently ( which is good as her current job finish’s in a couple of months. ) . She keeps getting though to the last few ,but not getting the job. When she has feed back they all say she interviewed really well . She is starting to feel a little down over it.

On the subject of ID cards; they are being proposed as a means of confirming your right to work in the UK. I don't want, or need to work. Does that mean I won't need one?
