Bloody lying suppliers !!!
Ordered a phone from AO.
Delivery promised 8th Oct.
Even yesterday they emailed confirming "today" ie 8th.
Waited till 22.00 no phone.
Just phoned customer services to be told they are out of stock and THEY won't get them till 8th NOVEMBER.
I've cancelled the order.......hey ho, back to the drawing board.

Those are some impressive and frankly professional looking toolchests. Certainly puts my stuff to shame. I assume they are filled with tools or will be?

Two of them are (over)full and I've got a lot of stuff on shelves that need to be in toolboxes - hence purchase of new chest.

Well I'm going on holiday so up that early to catch flight so that pales in comparison with getting up for work.
My last job I was up at 04:45 twice a week which was bad enough.

Morning all.
Mrs exlaser has just asked me what I want for my birthday which is early next month and I said new slippers 😀 ( god I must be old ) . Then she said there must want something else I wanted so I suggested why didn’t we spend a few days away at Exmouth before the clocks change . Great idea she said , then there was a slight pause………. then she said, I am assuming we are going to look at the two Supernova dinghies that are for sale in the area as well ? 😂😂😀😀😀.
Mrs exlaser knows me too well after nearly 40 years . Luckily she likes Exmouth and she likes dinghies so all is good and we are booked for next Thursday . 😀

It must be an epidemic!. I ordered a hearing aid from an outfit called iHearMore, for Mrs @BoldonLad. Order confirmation said next delivery for UK. Item dispatched 1st October, still not here 9th October! It appears to be stuck in Yodel's system (I use that term loosely). What is laughingly called iHearMore's cucumber services are no help. I will NOT be using them again, that is for sure.
