Good morning. Howling wind and lashing with rain. #2SP today so another 40 minutes till I had out into the dark world of the commuter traffic. Google maps is already showing a one hour journey time, on a good day 35 minutes and most Mondays 40 - 45.

I will take her swimming this afternoon.

A bright start to the day here, but a bit cool and breezy.
Going to take the dog to Trent country park this morning, it's only a few miles away between Cockfosters and Potters Bar. Millie does enjoy going somewhere different ever once in a while.

Morning folks bit drier this morning so will go for a spin.
Finished making my planter which is about 4ft x 3ft and now residing indoors until i can give it a coat of something to waterproof it.
Bought some more daff bulbs called 'sail boat' to go in my planter which will have a oregon thornless blackberry

Good morning, a sunny start to the day. We're off to a " Halloween Spooktacular " this afternoon at the Tiv in Wimborne. Three hours of entertainment and activities, can't wait 😉. Just given granddaughter #2 her breakfast, she's teaching me the ( anglicised) Chinese alphabet pronunciation, ( she has weekly Chinese lessons).

One of my friends was hospitalised after mistaking daffodil bulbs for garlic in a recipe. He's on the mend and the Doctors say he'll be out in spring...

Shopping in Minehead this morning and might nip over to see a mate, on my Barracuda, later on.

Walk done. Just the riverside trail plus a loop of the park so just under 5 miles. It's wet underfoot after last nights rain but it's dry and bright now but a tad chilly at 6 degrees.

Schools are back today after their Autumn break.

I need to get some shopping later.

Morning.
Bike packed into box and in car ready for the ridiculusly early start in the morning. Now to spend rest of day fretting if I've packed everything I need and will bike survive unscathed.
Other than that, trip to pick up eldest from train station, trip to library and a weights session.

dropped off about 8:15 by their Dad

dunno what he fed them for breakfast but as he works in a hospital I think they need to check on teh stocks of uppers and other such drugs!!!


think I might take them out for a walk
the cold and wind and rain should calm them down
