Just booked us a short notice break - off tomorrow to Beer, South Devon - 3 nights at the Anchor Inn - £175 all in.
Today we shall be lunching at the Railway.

Yep I'm back, unfortunately for me and you.
Fantastic 10 days in Mallorca, hot sunny and 100s of miles ridden up and down the mountains and roads there.
Today spent looking to book next holiday....

Good morning. 'Tis bright and sunny with a light breeze. This could dry the grass sufficiently for its last cut. I went to the allotment earlier and cleared half the grass of leaves. The leaf blower battery is on charge to get the other half down asap. I have a very quiet leaf blower. I'm a good neighbour. No noisy petrol stuff.

Today didn't start well. Coffee brewed and I'm ready for the crossword. Poured the coffee. Colourless. Clear water. It took a few moments to work out I hadn't put coffee in the Moka. A bit like the day I opened up my sandwiches at work only to discover I had bread, no filling. That was a difficult day. ☹️

There are some total bell ends driving these days. I was coming back down through the town heading home from my walk and I saw a car turn in to a side road from the main road and he was completely on the wrong side of the road!

7.3 mile wander done and I almost made it home dry. The rain arrived for the last half mile.

A sunny start to the day, the rain is forecast to hold off until early afternoon so that's good news for the Remembrance Parade. There's always a good turnout, Army Cadets, RAF Cadets, , Guides and Brownies as well as representatives from various units and the Police. We have a few bases both in Poole and nearby so It's always a good turnout ( and that's just in the Broadstone area of Poole ). The road is closed to traffic, as the band marches along the Parade to the war memorial in the Park.

Cycling..... in Majorca......in the sunshine!!

No, not at all. Before Covid hit i enjoyed a glorious weeks cycling there. It was a November and perfect cycling weather..
But no, I am NOT jealous.

Hadn't spotted the flavoured version until I examined the photo. I just noticed the whole milk one on the shelf. Zooming in I see " added botanicals " 🤔

Late up plus it is again, grey and claggy outside albeit warm and snug inside.
