Still raining. It looks like I’d be as well to give up the idea of getting out unless I want to don full waterproofs and splash through puddles. The rest of the week is looking mostly dry but much colder.

I've just got back from pucking the books up from the library, the sun is shining for the time being, it's not going to last.
The green bin is now full of fallen leaves that I raked up earlier today. The lorry comes around first thing Saturday morning.

It's been bright most of the day. I did get out for my run and stopped to chat to a lady who was looking through the fence at the work going on at the Plessy site. She wasn't aware of the WW2 Pillbox in the far corner ( overgrown and not really visible, but being kept and tidied up ) By the time I'd nattered about the Bar code and scanners, ERNIE, and the fact that Sir Tim Berners - Lee used to work there I'd recovered enough to continue with my run. 😁

Afternoon all , just back from volunteering and I am just a little tired , haven’t been for a couple of weeks and had forgotten it can be hard work . Good for my health in a number of ways though, which is why I am back at it tomorrow morning ( in the rain ) as it’s some tree cutting that can only be done at this time of year . The ground will soon be too waterlogged.
In some more unwell news for you all , two part time jobs applied for.

Mrs P wished to "pop in" to Sainsbury's on the way home from her physio. It was physio I was taxiing to not xray. Well, we all know what "pop in" means.......😂

I popped round to the spirits aisle. The Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is £39 😲 At £25, I would give it a go but £39??? Nope.

Google tells me it's £39 at the big stores but £26 on line ie home delivery. Google also says the £25.99 price is starting to filter through to the "in store" prices.
Someone is making a lot of money out of it.

I've just googled this. Is there no end to the junk Apple tries to flog??

This is the second piece of auto spell that I should of proof read before posting.
I have lost my retired staff pass and photo card, so i have emailed the help desk and sent the form off, but instead of photocard it sent photochromic!. Doh
