Oh deer,
looks like we're going to get a non stop feed of football BS from now until it's over. I don't much like football but I really hate all the BS that comes with it.
I think I'll go and find a deep cave to hide away in.

Morning. Minus 1 with a brisk northerly wind making it feel colder. A high of 3 today but at least it looks like staying dry.

Good morning. The snow is due to stop soon according to the Met Office........which is all fine and dandy........except it hasn't started yet. The forecast is dry and sunny for the next three days but too close to 0⁰ to consider cycling. Rain forecast for the weekend so I'll try for some miles then.

Next up is ironing followed by stretches and weights. I've been awake since 2.00am and may well go back to bed later.

A film of wet looking snow on the roofs outside, none on the ground.

Cold and wet on the river, I can see the sunrise out of the window, well I say sunrise, it's getting lighter. Stove on, coffee made and consumed in bed.

It's a damp start to the day with rain, not snow forecast for most of the day.
Another trip to the Vets this morning for more blood tests for Millie to check on her liver enzyme levels which were still a bit high a few weeks back.

Very weird. Bruce walked. Raining when we left, proper snowing by the time we were back, then rain again. Mind you, we're fairly high and exposed here for the middle at about 115M.

Watched some telly for a while and will have a browse now before bed.

Another deliberately chill day is in store.
Looking out and I see the bird feeders are empty so, cold or not I must look after our feathered friends. I get so few now the powers that be have destroyed the woodland for housing so I have to do what I can to attract them

Good morning it's taters out there but toasty inside. DPD messaged me to say my delivery will be between 12:15 and 11:15, new INOV8 trail running shoes incoming. Do I wait to try them out or do I head out into the cold, biting wind earlier🤔😁
