Good afternoon. A wet, damp and generally miserable day. I've been busy with helping a couple of people with IT this morning which has been a lot of fun and very satisfying. This afternoon is the u3a Film Club I run monthly through the winter. Today we're watching the wonderful "What We Did on Our Holiday" - if you've never seen it do find time. A great film.

We had pork and stuffing sandwiches for lunch.

I've got the munchies yet again! I had Chicken Jalfrezi and rice at 12 and have just made a couple of slices of toast and banana. Nobody could accuse me of having a poor appetite.

I had hoped for another little walk but the rain has returned.

I do enjoy chicken jalfrezi but that is the hottest I can enjoy.
I am going to have chilli and rice.......might have naan bread to go with it.

Bedding is happily spinning away.

A question for all.............
Do any of you use those additional smelly pellets or liquids which I understand are to make your bedding smell super flowery ??
I use Aldi washing powder and Aldi conditioner. I am happy with the results but the adverts to make me wonder if the extra smelly stuff helps.

A lot of the ingredients in washing powder, etc has been proven to be carcinogenic! I tried the more natural ones for a while but just never felt they cleaned as well so just have to put up with any risks.

I’m about to stick the telly on. 5 USA for some of the old Law & Order series. They’re quite enjoyable and an easy watch.

Found out that my bus pass had expired yesterday!
Got on the bus, flashed my pass at the machine and it rejected it.
Nice bus driver allowed me to get on and not pay.
Apparently the passes only last 5 years and they notify you automatically ( which they didn't).
I renewed it online when I got home and it should arrive within 28 days.
We'll see.....

Just seen a lorry driver, of all people, let rip at a van driver for being on her mobile. Strange day.

Just had a look at mine, and it is the 1st April, 2028, are they telling me something? 🤔

Checked mine, it's Oct 2028 which tells me i have at least that long before I pop my clogs.
