The lady who keeps bees in our village charges £8/jar. It's absolutely delicious. There's a large detached house on the way up to Broadstone which is advertising honey at £9 per jar. There are several local houses and Bungalows that were built in the 50's / 60's that have very long back gardens and keep bees.
MrsP Just sent me to the attic to get the dreaded Christmas decorations down. There were ten boxes full of things.
I would quite happily bin 90% of the stuff.
Humbug I tell ye, Humbug.
Next OU assignment submitted a month early. I now have a bit of a cushion in case either Mrs D or I should be ill, and I can take a week away from the books over Crimbo without risk of falling behind. Schweet!
Burning question of the day.
Has Chris Rea set off for home yet?
As for bins - the counsel here has a decent website where you can check what is being collected this week
you can also download a chart with everything marked
at the moment they are no longer collecting green bins until February or March but as it is all easy to access it is not too confusing
well that was good...sent an old friend a gift and it was really liked! I always find gift buying problematic as i dont want to foist my own tastes/likes etc Anyhow the recipient used to be my employer when i was a gardener, we stayed in touch and she payed all my vets fees for my dog-Murphy when i was skint [still am]
I will pay her back when im able and its quite a considerable amount, but for now i send tokens of appreciation. These dried flowers looked nice/stylish/pretty and importantly for me affordable!
