Even when it's not bad, the media seem to manage to spin it to make it sound bad. I barely watch the news now.
Riverside trail walked. Although it's dry this morning, it was still a bit muddy and puddly underfoot.
Good morning from a damp and overcast Dorset. More activity overnight at the Hedgehog house, the barley straw I scattered near the entrance has been dragged inside by the new occupant. No sign of the young fox that has been visiting, it originally squeezed through the " hedgehog highway " hole in the fence, fascinating to see how it managed to contort itself to get through. We're sending a box of Christmas presents today via DPD, our delivery driver is excellent 🤞 that things go smoothly.

Decent day in prospect weather wise, dry and wind has dropped.
After surfing yesterday afternoon I've a few twinges in back which is not great but hopefully won't stop me riding later.
Washing is on the go and hopefully a good enough day to hang outside for a change.

Morning all.
Wet this morning but supposed to be dry from lunch time.
C/H guy is calling to sort some problems out. Two problems he has tried in vain to fix are........
1. The radiator in the bedroom gets hot but if I try to lower the temp it affects the whole system......so it's either fully on or off. Its had a new T Valve so it's not that.
2. The rad in the lounge only gets warm. Not an air block and the one before and after it (in the system) get hot.
.......we shall see.

I now try and avoid reading any news and discussing any politics, living in complete ignorance seems to have improved my overall well-being, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it anyway.
i am sat waiting for my private limo to pick me up.It is another morning of scoffing,Christmas dinner at a garden centre with my two cycling buddies.these are the two that are going to shield me in to 2026 with my attempt to get out on the bike again,lets go for it.

Morning all.
It’s 9 degrees and damp in Coventry . I have been up since 7am as my car has a recall to check its main chain and needed to be at the dealership for 8.15am. Hopefully they will decide it needs a new chain as it will need changing in 18 months time anyway and this way I get it done for free 😂. If not it will just be a software mod and an oil change . Either way it’s a win as it will come back clean. 😀 I have even got a free courtesy car , which is a very bright colour . My father had a morris marina back in the day, that was a very similar colour , a strange mixture of yellow with a touch of green . I can’t remember what the colour was officially called , but my dad used to it cow s@@t yellow . 😀
In other news , the replacement fridge should be delivered this morning, and I didn’t get the job which is good news as I don’t really want to work full time again.
