Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
How many pairs of jeans is that? 😂

I've been a good girl. I haven't bought any jeans for months. However I may have bought some new jumpers.

Good morning all, a lovely day is dawning the only one we are forecast to get till next week. #3SP needs collecting shortly so I must dash. There's not a great deal of news here. For some reason I can'rt put my fiunger on I did Wordle this morning for the first time in more than two years. Got it in four which is pretty good after the break. That is it!!! Not much help has happened.

I have, I hope, tracked down the frame for my new bike. The Bicycle Lounge should be able to help. I visited for a long chat on Saturday, I'm going back tomorrow to finalise size etc and will be taking a credit card!! Exciting!

Good morning all
It's going to be rainy day today.
Sainsbury's are delivering not only the weekly goodies, but also a lot of stuff for Crimbo that can go in the freezer.
MrsP is out for most of the day, so I'll be out with the dog, with a pitstop at the Mitre on the way home.

We don;t even have a Sainsburys here never mind a Waitrose!!

(we do have 2 Aldis ( or is it 2 Aldi??) in Widnes)

I would like to mention that I did sometime shop in the same Waitrose as The Princess of Wales

when I lived in the only city in North Wales (at the time)

I never saw her there - but my ex did seem to want to go there more often than seemed to be necessary for a while

Good morning gentle people.
Just 1 major event this morning......I am having my ears lowered aka a haircut... at 10.00.
Christmas presents.........
Only thing I can think of for the grandkids is cash.
I am thinking of putting it in one of those envelope thingies. We have a good/cheap card shop within reach so might nip there after my haircut.

There are two major supermarket chains here Downunda. Coles and Woolworths (aka Woolies) with Aldi a distant third.
Anyway Coles bailed out of a site saying that the roof leaked and the landlord did not want to come to the party and asbestos might have been mentioned. Thereafter Woolies took over the site and spent squilions on redeveloping it and opened last week. We called in after our gym session today and put our water bottles in the trolley. After unloading and scanning our purchases the screen locked up and called for a staff member who told us that it had noticed that there were still items in the trolley! She entered some code and we were able to pay and exit the store.

I got 'caught' at Aldi a couple of months back.
Did the self service check out and just before I pressed to pay the young lady assistant appeared at my shoulder. She asked "did you get them here"?
I couldn't figure out what she meant till she pointed out a a tube of ?? that had rolled into a corner. It was probably worth a quid so obviously I wasn't trying to nick it (I hope).
Must say, she went up in my estimation for spotting that.
