I am with you.
My grandson is 25 and his mum (my daughter) has bought him Christmas PJs as a present... weird imo.

I suppose I am biased as I don;t use the things anyway (photos not available - before you ask!)

but my wife agrees with me and they were certainly never "a thing" when I was growing up

Me three, unless it’s exceptionally cold, but even then I would just turn the electric blanket on. I hate the feeling of pjs or nighties wrinkling up underneath me.

I like my pjs for loafing in front of the telly in the evening though.

Just back from our Christmas lunch get together. Haven't eaten such a big meal for a year, or two. Absolutely stuffed!!
It was very good though; well presented and pleasant surroundings.
Think I'll fast tomorrow....

I see that sort of thing a lot when we go to pick the grand kids up - people just don;t seem to be able to see how their intended actions will affact others and modify them to reduce the impact

It points to a very self centred attitude.
I have always considered that cyclists are better - not because they are better people - but just because the possibility of "bad things" is clearer so they look forward a lot more

Cyclists, like motorcyclists, have far better spatial awareness than many car drivers. I find I bring that awareness to my driving.

Its that time of life!!!
As you know, Sue's aunty recently died aged 100.
The funeral is tomorrow morning.
Just had a phone call to say MY aunty......also age 100 is on "end of life" care so not long left.
As they say, life's a bugger and then you die.

I'd freeze without my Jim jams. If it's a cold night I might pop a fleece on or my dressing gown. 🥶🥶🥶 I find an electric blanket makes me far too hot.

I never used to feel the cold but the last two or three years I've started to. I have several male friends who say the same thing.

I picked grandson up from school today and, once home, I taught him the basics of writing braille with my old slate & stylus.
He's amazed at being able to form leeters & words just using combinations of 6 dots!
