I thought when I finally finished full time work 18 months ago I might shed a few pounds, but that doesn’t sadly seemed to have happened, I have decided however to try and walk more, I find listening to audio books whilst walking very enjoyable, I just need to do more of it!

Good morning. It started off well but the sky looks threatening now. Its a treatment day so I dropped Mrs P at the hospital for 08.30, she got an early gig this week. On a whim I decided to bob into Chorley, specifically Booths. What a result!!!!!
I discovered White's Oats supplied Aldi under the brand name Kavanagh's. Regular readers will recall, how could you forget, the great porridge crisis. Further in depth investigation revealed White's, under their own name, supply Booths. My local Booths stocks five or six different White's products. Calm down. Calm down. I have only bought oats, nothing else. I'm sure it's the same product but the flavour does seem slightly different. I will perfect the cooking and flavouring as the days progress. @Mo1959 we don't have the right Coop to try your suggestion, ours are all mini ones which do Quaker Oats and that's it.
A trip to see my PT this afternoon and village quiz night this evening. We are expected to wear Christmassy stuff. Nah. Humbug.
I said nothing else from Booths. This is true, to an extent. Only one oat based product.........well almost only one.............Booths have a rather fine spirits department.....................I'm a bit of a sucker for a browse and found rather good Japanese whisky.
Mince pies. I have signed the pledge. Yesterday revealed a mince pie contains 226 calories. I'm not buying any more.........

I've counted six issues that don't occur, I haven't heard complaints, with a Wahoo.........if I hit ten.......🤔
Mrs Tkk attended the walk leaders group meeting at lunchtime. As expected the Council are going to stop supporting it. By support they mean advertising that the walks take place, their locations and times. The walk leaders have decided that the walks will continue on an ad hoc basis, but without the form filling.
In other news I modified our room thermostat which always reads 1 degree higher than it really is. The stat was set to 22 degrees as we keep the house at a constant 21, a minor niggle but I took the cover off, found the Thermistor which was on a short flying lead and moved it so it sits just outside the body of the thermostat and away from the influence of the pretty blue LED that was causing the issue. ( I'll probably have to move it back when Mrs Tkk spots the short length of cable sticking out the bottom of the unit 🤔 )
