Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I've just spent half an hour searching for buildings and contents insurance. £150 off my buildings and £10 off contents.

I was up at 5. 2 cups of coffee**, some Tony Blackburn then back to bed for a couple of hours.
Strange thing. My SiL just offered me a coffee but I declined as I had the 2 earlier**. I very rarely used to drink it, it was always tea but lately I have been more and more into it.

Nah, it's the caffeine kick required at the start of the day that's drawn you to coffee.

Nah, once swallowed your digestive system treats it as 1 single dose of carbs .

Yeh but, a large dose.🤔

Salad with it fine for me. Garlic bread ok too but, see, I don’t understand chips with lasagne. That’s double carbs…

Friendly reply, not having a toot as it's not my place so just an observation - this thread is very food orientated and I am often amazed at the amount of carbs members consume as evidenced by their posts...

Good morning. Cold and clear with the occasional biting blast of wind. At 6.30 the car windscreen was iced, at 7.30 that had almost gone so the temperature has risen a little in the past hour.

Are there things in your life that you always, always, always do????? One of mine is I keep receipts. Not the little every day ones but the major ones for stuff that might go wrong, need returning etc. Mrs P decided we should buy #1 and #3 sons dash cams for their Christmas. I visited Halfords, acquired two dash cams and two gift cards to cover the fitting cost. #3 son, on opening his present, apologised and said he's got one already*** No problem thought Dad! Yesterday Dad looked for the receipt. Hmmmm.......this morning, Ha! no problem Halfords always email a receipt. Hmmmmmm................no problem, Halfords signed me up for the Motoring Club when I bought the dash cams, it'll be in my account............Hmmmm.....................later today I'm having a dash cam fitted to my car!!!! And I have to give #3 £200 so he can buy something for himself.

The other stupid thing I've done is to agree to meet six, at least, buddies for a ride this morning. Geez it's cold. I've got all the winter gear laid out. I'm seriously contemplating wearing both my quilted gilets!!

*** these things are very discreet. A couple of weeks ago I took a careful look at #3 son's car. No dash cam in sight. On Christmas morning he showed me a tiny camera located just beside the rear view mirror. It's minute. Now in my defence, the clue is in the name. Dash cam. Where would one expect to find a dash cam????? On the friggin' dashboard...................otherwise it would be a mirrorcam.....................or am I just to old for this world????? He had toi actually touch the rear view one before I could see it!

Yes, re receipts plus also we always fill in the online registration thingies. Just in case.

I’m back on carnivore, at least for a while. Still feeling stuffed from breakfast and not sure I’ll bother with lunch.

Its a well known fact that 'greens' are bad for you. I mean, dinosaurs were vegetarian and look what happened to them !!
Imagine a lion, just about to tuck into a wildebeast and saying "hang about, where's me peas and cabbage".
