Good morning all.
A bit colder hers at only 2°......due to be a cold few days.
My Bro and SiL are visiting later and we are going for a pub lunch. For some reason I woke with lasagna and garlic bread on my mind. This pub automatically does a side salad with lasagna. Don't know how you feel but for me they dont go together but you can't swap it for eg garlic bread or chips.

I never liked salad with it either. Much better with chips or garlic bread.

Morning. Another dry but chilly one for us.

Barnet,
Good morning all from a frosty Barnet, 1⁰c at the moment.
Not much planned at the moment, but I'll probably go out on the bike at some point once the dog has been walked.
We bought far too much food as usual, so today's meals will be made up of leftovers, as will tomorrow's quite possibly.

Listening to Tony Blackburn on the radio and drinking my first mug of tea. :cuppa:

It is actually an early 20th century galvanised animal feed trough that I managed to make in to a bath. I can lay in it with knees slightly bent. The whole boat is definitely not your typical narrowboat. I have an Edwardian wardrobe door for the loo for example.

Salad with it fine for me. Garlic bread ok too but, see, I don’t understand chips with lasagne. That’s double carbs…

The world would be nothing without variety. Never chips or garlic bread for me, always a green salad.

The more you say the more this sounds like a seriously cool narrow boat................if you ever cruise the Leeds Liverpool let me know. I would love to see it.

@PaulSB I watched many videos and layout ideas and regardless of what people spent it was basically the same thing. So I recycled as much of the old flat furniture and repurposed it. 600 kilos of scaffolding boards for floor and I built the space for a full size bed and only had to saw the legs off and reimagine the oak headboard.
