I did my apprenticeship at Kirkstall Forge which used be next door to the Abbey founded by the monks.
We're any of the monks named Harry?

Good morning all.
A bit colder hers at only 2°......due to be a cold few days.
My Bro and SiL are visiting later and we are going for a pub lunch. For some reason I woke with lasagna and garlic bread on my mind. This pub automatically does a side salad with lasagna. Don't know how you feel but for me they dont go together but you can't swap it for eg garlic bread or chips.

Banked the stoves very well last night a pleasant 15 degrees throughout the boat today. Just put a log in to liven it up and a bit warmer for my bath. Very happy with that.

The world would be nothing without variety. Never chips or garlic bread for me, always a green salad.Good morning all.

The more you say the more this sounds like a seriously cool narrow boat................if you ever cruise the Leeds Liverpool let me know. I would love to see it.It is actually an early 20th century galvanised animal feed trough that I managed to make in to a bath. I can lay in it with knees slightly bent. The whole boat is definitely not your typical narrowboat. I have an Edwardian wardrobe door for the loo for example.
