Choose your own name. I was always going to be Granddad, none of the other choices were on my list.

We were asked to do this. It had never occurred to me that such a thing might be necessary.

I chose “grumpy” which works very well and is also true 🤣

Huge rafts of seaweed on the beach today would pick some up with a wheelbarrow but the sea has eroded into the golf coarse making a 10ft or so step to climb.
Not going to buy a Thorn Mercury as they've changed spec and only have 2 crappy colours so have been browsing contenders whilst munching chocolate and drinking coffee and reckon a Stanforth Skylander rohloff in British racing green will do, anyone like to buy me one feel free

@Dirk it's strange how Watchet has gone downhill since you moved there.
Google news says a gang has been jailed, one of them for 16 years, for smuggling drugs into the UK via Watchet harbour.
Don't take it personal if you see people marching past your gaff waving "down with Dirk" banners.
