On a different note
when I stopped for a cuppa on the ride (after getting lost) I met a bloke who runs
he was quick to say that he is not a runner - just a bloke who runs

often in a pink leotard and wearing a pink tutu


turns out that he does it for charity and has done the London Marathon several times

He is trying to work out how to do a pedalo trip the full length of the Bridgewater canal next year - after the breach is fixed

clearly it has to be a pink flamingo pedalo and he is looking for "celebrities" to help pedal a section or so

If he does it I will certainly want to go and watch!!!

We are having Christmas dinner, had a spare turkey roast, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, veg etc in the freezer so I thought why not!

I do remember - when I was a teenager - the 3 of us that grew up together - were sitting around in John's house and he offered us a bit of Easter Egg

Shaun and I looked at each other and said something like WHAT?????

he went to a cupboard and in it he had 2 EasterEggs - and offered us about a square inch each!!

I mean - who has Easter Eggs left over after about Easter Monday!!!

He was always weird - all his toy cars were in pristine condition and he kept them in their original boxes - Shaun and I had more cars - but they were wrecked and the boxes went in the bin the day we got them
