The carnivore diet went by the wayside as it was too restrictive for me. To be honest I’m not crazy on red meat or eggs which are the two staples. I am however determined to eat a much healthier diet and do my best not to touch ultra processed junk. My new addiction at the moment seems to be Fage 5% yoghurt with some fruit. That was my breakfast.
I was reading of a lady who recently died at the ripe old age of 117 who ate yoghurt every day so I might be on to something.

Yes, Maria Branyas Morera, the world's oldest verified person until her death at 117, ate three servings of plain, sugar-free yogurt daily, a practice linked to studies suggesting probiotics boost gut health and reduce inflammation, key factors in aging, alongside her Mediterranean diet and lifestyle. Researchers believe this, plus her genetics and avoidance of alcohol/smoking, contributed to her remarkable longevity, with her microbiome showing exceptional health.
