Went to see a lovely couple earlier to help with a laptop that didn;t work
I find it VERY annoying when I find vulnerable people who end up with expensive "subscriptions" to protection plans and anti-virus syatema that they just don;t need but get told it is essential
The amount of b****x they had been told was about the worst I have heard
They had a Norton subscription - but the shop had not even bothered to install the damn thing!!!!
They have a nice dog as well - lovely little pug that spent the whole visit guarding them from me in a worried sort of way - except when coming over to see if I might want to scratch her ears!

Alert- CoOp are welling boxes or 6 x mince pies. I only had a tenner, but still managed to nab 25 boxes. IMHO mince pies are the only good thing about Christmas.

Why don't you make them, the fruit mince is very easy and anyone can make pastry

Im a man of many talents, but cooking is not one of them. I coud burn a bowl of water.
In any case, I've now got 150 mince pies, and some explaining to do to Mrs D, for under a tenner. I doubt I could make that many for that sort of cash.

I may have to find a Coop........this reminds me of a question I need answering. We have two unused Christmas puddings. Should I cook these or store for next Christmas?

Mrs P commented on tonight's tea saying she thought the lamb chops were a bit small. It turns out my rendition of "Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb........." was not as humorous as I thought..........

You could buy everything you need for next Christmas for under £20 and bung itnin the freezer for next Christmas.
