Morning. It’s minus 2 and foggy. I’d better try and get a wander done though as there’s sleety showers forecast by 10.

Good morning, got a few things done yesterday, assembled a couple of storage inserts, patched a bit of flooring, messed around with a utility called " Home Assistant ", stuff like that.
Unfortunately the lurgy has commenced, hopefully it will be a mild and fleeting visit 🤞

Morning.
Road trip today but unfortunately in car not on bike. Hopefully home in time to get a weights session in this afternoon.
Getting noticably lighter in evening now but still pretty dark in morning until 0800.

Been watching burglars-get-owned videos on PoopTube.

One made my eyes water. Johnny Scumbag sticks his had through the letterbox and is trying to reach the door lock when the hulking great home owner smashes the arm with a baseball bat as it emerges into the house. The scream was piercing! But hey, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Walk done and just finished a plate of scrambled eggs with mushrooms. That’s probably the excitement for the day.

Cote de Belmont - about 3 miles from home. They go up the easy side and descend the tricky side. I wouldn't want to do that descent at any sort of speed. This is exciting already. People are buzzing and talking about little else...........of course there are those who complain council tax will go up to pay for it.

So many roads we ride regularly, it's hard to decide where to watch. I could walk to Belmont!

Jubilee Tower. Waddy Fell. The Trough. WOW! Lancashire classics.

We get a new roads as well.

Not got total details of the TdF route near here
but what I have seen suggests that it will just go down the main roads to set up a sprint on the front in Liverpool

Anyway - no volunteering for the next 3 days and the Cafe Boat has been released from the ice in teh Marina
and are operating again


I do have to decided whether to go that route - as the bike end up covered in mud and needs washing after

but might be worth it!

Myself and MrsP went to the Curve Theatre in Leicester to see The Sound of Music. .It is several years since we last went to see a live show and we really enjoyed it..

Third day in Leeds, we dropped my son off at his Halls but decided to stay another night. Although we’ve been here quite a few times, We have really enjoyed it, it’s a very vibrant and friendly city. I’m having a coffee while Mrs Gunk spends even more money!

We’ll leave around 12, takes about three and a half hours with a break to get home to Oxford.

As stated, i was up and around at 05.30. Got suddenly tired about 06.30 so decided to go back to bed for an hour......not due at hairdrssers 'til 10.00. Fell into a deep sleep and woke with a start at 09.20 .
So, mad dash to get there. All done. I was a good boy and sat still for her.
Need breckie now.
