Good morning all. Got back to Luton Airport on time last night and it was snowing and 0⁰. 4 hours earlier we were in 21⁰
There were two medical emergencies on the plane so the ambulances were waiting for the plane when it parked up. Fortunately not severe enough to divert the plane en route. There were two Doctors on board fortunately who were keeping tabs on the pair. Turns out one was having an Asthma attack, the other had heart problems whilst on holiday, but still decided to fly home.

The heavy snow(All of 1/2 an inch) last night and early morning had gone by 1/2 five this morning.
The fog still lingers though.

Salut. Turned up at surgery at 8 am and got an appointment for Mrs G for 9.15 am. She is there now . Result.
Brilliant sunshine here in Poole. I have cleaned out the bird feeders and left them to dry in the sunshine. Our coffee machine popped up the descale notification so I will crack on with that once we've finished our daily coffee fix ( around 3pm ) I ignored the descale for a few weeks and eventually the flexible inner water pipe blew off, fortunately an easy fix once I'd identified the problem.

Right - I'm sort of awake and had my porrige
We have a new microwave - the old one was doing weird things
basically sometimes it did what it has always done
and sometimes it just did not seem to warm/heat things up normally
and I am a bit nervous about microwaves going wrong
plus it was well over the average life span so we got a new one
seems to work pretty much the same as the old one - and looks almost identical!
anyway - looks cold out
off to Warrington soon to see an AgeUK client
then a trip to the tip after lunch to get rid of the old microwave and old vacuum which has a broken tube and you can;t get replacements!
Oh I also have a heart monitor that I have to wear for 7 days - which is a pain
had to wear pyjamas in bed last night to stop me getting the wires tangled up - and somewhere to clip the box
and I also need to be awarded a medal for seeing a post by Dave about tit boxes and not making any dodgy comments!!!
