I've got some sheetkicking to do on behalf of the parish council today.

This sign has appeared at a local play park...

All well and good, except we don't own the park or the land and have nothing to do with it so when Johnny Spottiebum falls off their substandard equipment and brains himself his mummy will be on the blower to us demanding compo!

If they don't take it down today I'll be putting a strip of gaffa tape over the pertinent paragraph.

Can't imagine our parents when we were kids being expected to supervise us if we went to the park.

Please could you also raise an objection to the five, possibly six, grammatical errors? I know five are technically "writing mechanics" but grammar covers it. These errors on public notices really wide me up.

Good morning. It's blowin' a hoolie but at least milder than the last couple of days. A very poor sleep and I've been awake too long. I may go for a doze. It's cards group this afternoon, including myself, there are 13 coming so it's likely I will sit out and do some admin on the laptop. Mrs P is out with a friend late afternoon/early evening so I will be on culinary duties. I need to wind myself up for a gym visit while she's out.

Got up this morning - rather late - 9:25!!!
I was awake at 3 something and didn;t get properly to sleep for ages - then it was 9:25!!

anyway - dry roads and driveway so I was planning on a ride as soon as I had got my wife up

but the café boat was saying it is very windy and looking at the weather radar it looks like there is rain coming
AND there is a bad headwind on the way back

Good afternoon, hair has been cut, wild bird seed and suet balls purchased. I'll clean the bird feeders this afternoon before topping them up.
