Base rate has stayed the same.

I've been back from cards group for 45 minutes. I ought to go to the gym. The mind is willing but the body is very weak. I'm nackered. I think I'll make a brew, find a film, put my feet up and fall asleep.

This is the sort of weather where my dog would have got all excited to go out for a walk
then get one inch out of the door and turn to go back in again

weird really - she pretty much lived in the garden if she could
and if it was raining I would normally find her in the garage

but walking in the rain was not something she liked - until some interesting smells occurred anyway!

her coat was waterproof as well - they get like that if they spend a lot of time outdoors
so she would not actually get wet
quick rub with a towel and she was dry

Morning all

'Orrible manky weather out there. Bit of a change from yesterday, which was actually quite sunny.
General pottering day in prospect.



First time fixed wing, funnily enough, was in a biplane; a 1948 Stampe - that's me in the front seat.
First time I ever flew in anything was actually in a helicopter.

It has rained all day and still going.

Same here. Just been up to see our Daughter, it's only a 12 mile trip, but the weather is foul.
Got overtaken by a car at very high speed followed by a traffic patrol car also at High speed.
Rain is due to continue all night and all day tomorrow.

No.

I didnt damage it, and I didn't dishonestly appropriate it (ie, I didn't steal it) so no criminal offences.

You just pulled the sign, post and all, out of the ground before handing it in at the council meeting?
