Afternoon all ,
It’s the end of the week so I must be taking a car to be repaired at a garage 😂😀.
It’s my daughter cars this time , two problems with it .
First one is easy , the front window washers are blocked again . Needs to be working as she taking her test again soon .
Second one could be more expensive, as it’s had a fault on the power steering when I had her doing reversing practice with me a couple of weeks ago . It’s ok again now but needs checking over. Seems strange to me as you would think with an electric system it would either work or not , but what would I know .
Will have to pick it up later and i suspect the bank of dad may have a part to play in paying for what ever work is done. 😀

Good afternoon. Mrs Tkk had a " procedure " at the Hospital this morning, all clear thank goodness. I wandered into Poole while she was being investigated and popped into a café where I bumped into an ex neighbour and we passed the time catching up with each other's lives.
Back at the Hospital I was waiting in recovery for Mrs Tkk and noticed that one of the older nursing auxiliaries kept looking at me over her paperwork. Eventually she said " has anyone ever told you that you look like that man who's been on the telly " " Richard Gere? " I said hopefully . " No, no, not him, that Mandelson chap " was her reply. We then spent a good natured few minutes discussing how best I might alter my appearance. She suggested a goatee, I said a Groucho Marx moustache and glasses. When Mrs Tkk came into recovery the discussion continued with a few more suggestions from the nursing staff.
It's been quite an eventful day all in all.

This post from a Facebook Bruce Springsteen group I belong to. The opening question was "Have you met Bruce?" Love this reply. I so hope it's true 🤣

On the positive side, you are only spending her inheritance.

Anyone else that wears a Garmin finding the sleep tracking is rubbish these days? Don’t know if it’s got worse after the last software update. If I get up to the loo then go back and get a few more hours it is no longer recording it. I’m still wearing two watches and the Apple is much more accurate. Seriously thinking about ditching Garmin.

My Garmin can be a bit random, sometimes it tracks my sleep ( and occasional afternoon nap) quite well. Other times it's wildly out. I tend to read for an hour in bed before falling asleep ( wake up when Kindle slides of the duvet onto the floor, pick it up, put it on the bedside table then drop off to sleep again). If you think about the mechanics of sleep measurement it's difficult to interpret inactivity vs sleep just with a wrist based device, I'm surprised that they're as accurate as they sometimes are.

Back from my tests at the hospital.
Do i want the bad news or the worse news??
●The glaucoma they are keeping an eye on is getting worse, to the point they couldn't put the required drops in as the gap between the lenses was now too narrow.
● The cataract problems are also getting worse.
Sometimes I think the NHS is brilliant while other times I could scream eg the glaucoma could cause irreversible blindness. They will write to me, I should hear in 8-12 WEEKS !!!
So..... I definitely need my cataracts sorting plus I could go blind and they will write to me in 8-12 weeks.
NB
The nurse was qualified to tell me that but no more, i have to see the consultant for that
How much can I swear on here??
