I have to say I am not that keen on the new met office format , I find it more complicated .
I suppose it all depends on what bit of the forecast you look for first. As a sailor, I am looking for wind average and gust strength and these things are now further down the forecast .

I don’t like it either. At the moment you can switch back to the old style but not sure for how much longer.

Evening folks managed a spin today! seems ages since ive been out and compared to spinning a turbo its a darn sight easier though it depends on turbo settings.
Brora beach has disappeared! consumed by the waves something like 4- 5ft of sand. it'll return in its own good time.

I came across the Stanforth hand made bikes website yesterday. What beautiful things they are. If I had the money I'd get one I think.

The BBC NW weather say its going to rain for the next 4 days then Sunday is going to be wall to wall sunshine..... then Sunday is back to rain. Even the presenter was surprised at Saturday.
My bbc phone app says the same.

We have both dumped it here. Switched to Accuweather.

Main issue being it (Met Office) will not give us our precise home location - serving up one 3 miles away.

In the Lake District that may as well be the far side of the moon. A 3 mile separation can lead to significant weather differences.
