We have two granddaughters for the day. One has an allergy to cow's milk, she can only have oat milk. The other also has an allergy to cow's milk AND sometimes gets eczema after drinking oat milk so she has coconut milk!!!

Today's burning questions are:

Can pancakes be made with non-dairy milk substitutes?

I go through phases of not eating dairy, more as I'm not convinced that it's particularly healthy rather than any intolerance. Currently giving soya a try again. I've found a decent one that's just organic soya beans and water so no nasty fillers or additives......only problem is I can only find it online. I liked oat milk but it's a bit high in carbs and low in protein.

Well built I recall. Or was if the camera angle?

From a purely anatomical perspective she did indeed appear to be a good specimen. Hellmof a skater, so fair play.

I like oat milk in my coffee. It seems to deliver precisely the level of sweetness I enjoy.

I did really enjoy the Moma Organic Barista oat one, but here's the comparison of nutrition figures. Quite a bit higher in calories and carbs, but lower in protein compared to the Sojade Organic Soya I'm currently using.

I retired last April early at 63, so its about time I posted in this thread.
Today is action packed. I have made up a pancake batter for lunch when my fiancee comes over.
I am about to practice the new Jive routine for this evenings group dance lesson and practice.
Then up to join the library as I am reading at night now to help me go to sleep.
Also pick up a amazon parcel at the locker near the library.
Later today off to my private dance lesson at 4pm. ( with missus) Today we will mainly be doing the Foxtrot, which is the devils work as far as I am concerned.

I saw a clip on tv. The guy read the contents of a carton of oat milk. He then put the stated amount/weight of oats in a blender, together with the appropriate measure of water. He then 'blended' it and put it through a seive and declared it tasted as nice as the purchased carton.
I've never tried oat milk so dont have an opinion.
NB
My daughter uses unsweetened soya milk.

What are the chances of Paul getting the different pancakes mixed up? 🤔🤔🤔

It is pancake day any day we want in our house.
