I retired last April early at 63, so its about time I posted in this thread.
Today is action packed. I have made up a pancake batter for lunch when my fiancee comes over.
I am about to practice the new Jive routine for this evenings group dance lesson and practice.
Then up to join the library as I am reading at night now to help me go to sleep.
Also pick up a amazon parcel at the locker near the library.
Later today off to my private dance lesson at 4pm. ( with missus) Today we will mainly be doing the Foxtrot, which is the devils work as far as I am concerned.

You have a fiancée AND a missus? 😊

It's due to something we all have: preferences.

I guess a Brit who moved to Florida wouldn’t really get what punk rock was about.

I remember it and I despised it. The Sex Pistols were filth. I've seen enough of it even if I don't "really get" what it's about. Rebellion was some of it, if not all of it. And what would moving to Florida have to do with it?

They were crap. They were very happy to make a lot of money from the very system they pretended to despise.

Because moving there would hardly be compatible with someone who believed in Rebellion.

I wondered about that too.
