Good morning all.
It's quite a misty start to the day here and a bit cool, 6⁰ but should be sunny and warm later.
Millie is very unwell, she is running a high temperature and is very wobbly on her legs. I fear that we may be saying goodbye to her soon. We already had an appointment at the Vet for her on going treatment, but this is something else.😥

Morning all.
A sunny day and 13° forecast here, lubbly jubbly.
Sat in a nearly bare room waiting for SiL to help shift the bed. The carpet fitters can work around the setè and chair but the bed has to be moved.
Now is it me ???,
On my FB yesterday was an article stating 12 things that widows/widower go through if they were married over 50 years.
Now, we had 57 years together and it was a bl**dy good marriage but I only ticked 2 of the boxes eg yes I miss her at times every day but NO I dont continually talk to her.
Yes i do have my side of the double bed but NO.... not because the other side is hers, its because im comfortable on this side.
I suppose we are all different. As my Ma used to say "it wouldn't do for us all to be the same".

One of the reasons we didn't have a dog/cat..... seeing what others went through eg my daughter and SiL. A serious comment here, I kept tropical fish and didn't like it when one of my favourites died.
Hope all works out well for you.

Good morning, it's going to be a beautiful day. I'm heading out the Ribble Valley with one of my buddies. We had a steady, rolling (it's all rolling in the RV) 65 mile route planned which we've ridden a few times. He's just messaged to suggest a change which is going to be fun. We will reverse most of a route we're very familiar with, always a good result, head over to Ribchester. At Ribchester we tackle the notorious Jeffrey Hill which ascends Longridge Fell. I haven't been up Jeffrey for a while, certainly not since the RTC. I used to kick my buddy's arse on this one, I don't think that will happen today. We're not competitive but do have a tendency to egg each other on and try to stick wheel to wheel.......all in good spirit.

We've found a new community cafe to visit. These are usually very good and we like to support as many as we can as they're becoming an increasingly important local, community asset in many places.

That's about it really. I need to fuel up on porridge and decide which jersey to wear. The temperature is in the balance between winter and spring kit.
