Glorious day, Cargo shorts and summer jacket on as I head out the door for a wander. Just over 15 minutes into my walk and felt a few spots of rain. I glanced up and saw a dark clout that hadn't been there 5 minutes previously. Turned back towards home to graib my rain jacket, but alas, a brief but intenses shower with a few hailstones had me soaked before I reached home. There's always an " upside " to these things, today it was that I'd forgotten to comb my hair until it was barely damp after I climbed out of the shower. Having it nice and wet again meant that I could comb it properly 😁

Just been chatting to the bloke next door

apparently he has bought a new ebike from the LBS

£4000 - full suspension MTB type thing
didn't get the make but it has the latest Bosch performance line motor so more powerful than mine

He seems t have several MTB's in his garage - never see them go anywhere so hopefully this will help him!

Good morning from a bright Dorset. A write off day yesterday due to a combination of ear ache and/ sore throat / nausea. Apparently there's a " 48 hour " bug doing the rounds locally.
New coffee machine arrived and set up yesterday, very similar to the previous model but this one has the option to heat / froth milk so I might have a go at a Mocha made with oat milk.
Mrs Tkk has Pilates which will take her out of the house, hopefully Paul the postie will deliver a package from Brilliant Bikes, a set of bungees for the rack on her G line brommie. It's to be her birthday present in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to see her delighted expression when she opens it🤔

Reminds me of the time I bought MrsMikeIOW a fridge. You should’ve seen her face light up when she opened it 🤪

A clearer day here today…we managed 26km before the light started to go flat (& our legs started to tell us to stop!). Topped out over 73km/h (on a safe empty blue run), so we can ease down now 🤣

I've made prawn curry, enough for three meals.

Gavroche will enjoy some of that. Nothing like a good prawn curry if you have dodgy bowels.
